Man Commits Self-Detonation Near Traffic Police Car at Savyolovsky Station in Moscow

In Moscow, a man detonated an explosive device near a traffic police car at Savyolovsky station. He and one police officer died, according to the Investigative Committee. The National Police of Ukraine qualified the incident as a terrorist attack with severe consequences. A suspect in its commission was detained on the morning of February 22. According to the investigation, a 33-year-old resident of the Rivne region of Ukraine "under the direction of a so-called "curator" of the Russian special services manufactured improvised explosive devices and installed them in pre-determined locations." On the evening of February 23, an explosion occurred in a police building in Dnipro, the department reported. They added that no one was injured.
