In the Perm region, a student attacked a teacher with a knife. She died

In the city of Dobryanka, Perm region, a ninth-grader attacked a teacher with a knife, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. According to Governor Dmitry Makhonin, she died after hospitalization. As reported by the police, the attack occurred today around 8:00 AM (6:00 AM Moscow time) at the entrance to school No. 5 in Dobryanka. The student stabbed his class teacher. The victim was taken to the hospital, and later she died. The deceased was the school's deputy principal, a teacher of Russian language and literature, Olesya Baguta. According to the head of the district, students are not in danger, and the school is operating normally. The 17-year-old attacker was detained and taken to the territorial police department. The head of the Dobryansky district, Dmitry Antonov, said that the student is registered with the police and has repeatedly had to repeat a grade. The motives for his actions are currently being investigated. The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on charges of murder and negligence.
